SCWC Dugong Mason is one of the highlighted activity of Square & Compass We Connect wherein it's mandate is to give a relief to a brother Master Masons and to his immediate family thru blood donations. The prime mover of Dugong Mason is Bro. Jojo Narciso of Island Luz Minerva No.5 who also the Chairman of the said activity.
By organizing bloodletting activities through the assistance of Philippine Heart Center and the sponsoring lodges, appendant bodies and districts the "SCWC Dugong Mason" was able to produce hundred of blood bags ready to serve distressed worthy brothers and his immediate family, just made a simple text message to any of the SCWC Moderators, these guys are always ready to extend their cabletow 24/7.
The idea came when SCWC Moderators noticed that most of the urgent calls circulating within SCWC are blood requests and assistance especially to the immediate family of the distressed brothers.
The Core Officers discussed the concern during their regular monthly meeting and they created special committee led by Bro Jojo Narcisco and Vice-Chaired by WB Jesse Zamuco to organize the SCWC Dugong Mason Bloodletting Activities thru the assistance of the brethren, families, friends and other organizations.
One of the first successfull bloodletting activity of SCWC Dugong Mason was held at the Capitol Masonic Temple thru the partnership of Philippine Heart Center and Masonic District NCR-F led by PDDGM VW Willy Reyes which was conducted last October 2, 2014.
Followed by the Frank Reed Horton Memorial Lodge 379 led by VW Gene Illenberger which was conducted also at the Capitol Masonic Temple on October 7, 2014.
The Supreme Council Order of DeMOLAY headed by its Grand Master VW Rodel Riezl SJ Reyes, LOH also supported thru a joint Bloodletting Activity which was held last November 8, 2014, at DeMOLAY Youth Center Plaridel Masonic Temple, GLP Manila.
SCWC DUGONG MASON thru the partnership with Sultan Haroun AL-Rashid Said Lucman Memorial Lodge No.406 of NCR-D headed by Worshipful Master VW Fahad AL-Rashid Said Lucman hold a joint Bloodletting Activity last February 14, 2015 at Plaridel Masonic Temple, GLP Manila.
We would like to express our deepest gratitude for the unwavering support of MACARIO R. RAMOS MEMORIAL LODGE NO.355 of NCR-A under the OUTSTANDING leadership of WM BERTSAN BALANAY during the success of our joint bloodletting activity held last February 28, 2015 at Scottish Rite Temple -Manila. We have collected an astonishing 95 precious blood bags during the event.
Before the brethren of MWGLP get busy for the ANCOM 2015, the SCWC Dugong Mason again held its Bloodletting Activity thru the support of BERNARDO CARPIO LODGE No.359 headed by Worshipful Master Alo Aquino & Worshipful Master Tito Coronacion of MONTALBAN MASONIC LODGE NO.376 last April 11, 2015 at San Mateo Masonic Center, Gulod Malaya, San Mateo, Rizal.
KAMANAVA TRAVELLERS CLUB headed by President Bro. August Roxas tapped SCWC Dugong Mason on their Bloodletting Activity last May 24, 2015 at Barangay 63 Basketball Court, 9th Avenue, West, Caloocan City.
